The family points to a case of “Real Water” bought at Costco. A formal complaint accuses the company of selling bottled water that contained trace amounts of hydrazine, a toxic chemical used in rocket fuel. Experts believe the chemical accidentally formed during the water’s electrification and manufacturing process.<\/p>\n
The toxic chemical is known to cause severe liver damage and has been linked to triggering ALS. According to law and crime reports, the family stated that Addie had never been exposed to this chemical before drinking the alkalized water, meaning the product directly sealed her fate.<\/p>\n
The company ceased operations in 2021 after the Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found major safety violations at their facilities.
