A family of three from V\u00e1rzea Alegre\u2014Sebasti\u00e3o C\u00edcero Gomes, his wife H\u00e9rida Nascimento da Silva, and their 3-year-old son, Miguel\u2014lost their lives while traveling along the CE-060 highway.<\/p>\n<p>The family was heading toward Juazeiro do Norte for a standard medical procedure that little Miguel was scheduled to undergo. What was supposed to be a routine, one-hour trip driven by hopes for the young boy&#8217;s well-being was abruptly and heartbreakingly cut short.<\/p>\n<p>At around 7:00 AM, near S\u00edtio Piripiri between Cariria\u00e7u and Juazeiro do Norte, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the road and plunged into a roadside stream, submerging in roughly five meters of water.<\/p>\n<p>The Cear\u00e1 Military Fire Department and local emergency teams rushed to the scene, but the depth of the water made rescue efforts incredibly difficult.
