The Juror Who Refused to Change His Verdict Is Now Facing Death Threats….

Michael P. Desronvil, a 48-year-old juror in the Lindsay Clancy case, became the sole holdout when the jury deadlocked 11–1, leading to a mistrial on September 4. Desronvil, a Black Catholic and conservative Christian whose parents are Haitian immigrants, said he remained convinced that Clancy understood her actions when she killed her three young children in January 2023, despite her defense arguing severe postpartum psychosis. His attorney says Desronvil faced doxxing, death threats, and had to relocate for safety, while a fundraiser for his security, legal costs, and lost wages has approached $400,000. Clancy’s legal team has also asked the court to investigate allegations of misconduct involving Desronvil….
