The state barred him from attending public school because he was born without arms or legs: today Nick Vujicic has given talks in more than 60 countries

Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs due to tetra-amelia syndrome, and his parents were devastated when they first saw him. After being denied access to public school in Victoria because of his disability, he later became one of the first students with a disability to attend mainstream school after laws changed, though he faced severe bullying and depression. He eventually turned his struggles into purpose, earning a degree in Accounting and Financial Planning at 21, becoming an international motivational speaker, and founding Life Without Limbs in 2005 to fight bullying and promote inclusion and education for people with disabilities.
