Danny Ellerd was once found homeless beneath an Oklahoma City overpass, battling a long-term heroin addiction and weighing just 92 pounds, but what seemed like the end of his life became the beginning of an extraordinary transformation. After surviving a serious infection and entering recovery, Ellerd rebuilt his life, began helping others experiencing homelessness and addiction, returned to college, and earned two associate degrees while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. He went from surviving on the streets to becoming a graduate, community advocate, and author dedicated to showing others that recovery really is possible….
