Philadelphia Police Officer Shane Seiber, 40, was remembered for his constant smile, earning him the nickname “Colgate.” After serving two tours in Iraq with the U.S. Air Force, he spent 10 years with the Philadelphia Police Department before being fatally ambushed while responding to a call in West Philadelphia on October 10, 2026. His partner, Officer Hector Rodriguez, was also wounded but was reported to be recovering. On October 20, colleagues and community members gathered to honor Seiber at his funeral. He leaves behind his wife, Lisa, and their two young children, Finn, 7, and Emily, 3. He was an airman, a police officer, a devoted husband, and a father whose memory will live on. 🇺🇸..
