After spending five long nights at the animal hospital, sweet Ollie is finally back home where he belongs. His very first morning back was filled with love, a little bit of solo, closely supervised grazing, and a strikingly vibrant new look. Dressed in a beautiful shade of bright yellow, Ollie proved to everyone that no matter what health struggles he faces, he remains the most handsome boy around.

Because of a recent major medical procedure, Ollie currently has a cystotomy tube attached, meaning he has to stay in a private suite next to his pals to prevent any accidental injuries or tube pulling. His dedicated family is also keeping him out of long grass to protect his surgical site from contamination. Despite these strict restrictions, Ollie is perfectly content in his stall and managed to get an amazing, peaceful night of sleep after his stressful hospitalization.

To help him stretch his legs safely, his owner is putting his harness training to good use, taking him out for special grazing walks and quick breaks throughout the day. While his family counts down the days until his tube is finally scheduled to be removed at the end of next week, they are embracing every single moment of his recovery process—including the colorful side effects of his treatment.

The unmistakable, highlighter yellow staining covering his fur is actually a temporary side effect of his crucial medication, which turns his tears, saliva, and urine exceptionally bright. It stains heavily and won’t wipe off easily, leaving his owner’s arms and hands looking a little yellow from all the constant cuddles. But as his family happily says, a little yellow never hurt anyone, and this brave baby Boo deserves all the love in the world as he heals.
