Stavros Floros, a 21-year-old *Survivor Greece* contestant, suffered life-changing injuries on May 11, 2026, when a tourist boat struck him with its propeller while he was underwater in the Dominican Republic, leading to the amputation of much of his left leg; after 61 days in a Miami hospital and multiple surgeries, the now-22-year-old is rebuilding his life and has filed a lawsuit seeking more than $100 million against the show’s producers, Acun Ilıcalı, SKAI and others, alleging inadequate safety measures, while the production says the accident happened outside the competition and that they immediately helped him.
