Three Brooklyn teenagers—16-year-old Abdul Rehman, 17-year-old Konstantin Gerantidi, and 18-year-old Huzayfah Aziz Algahiem—were killed in a devastating late-night crash on the Belt Parkway on August 25, 2026, when the Cadillac Escalade they were traveling in collided with a Honda HR-V near Bay Ridge. Police said the SUV was believed to be traveling at around 100 mph in a 50-mph zone, and none of the three victims was wearing a seat belt. Abdul was remembered as a hardworking and compassionate student who helped support his elderly parents and dreamed of becoming a businessman, while Huzayfah had recently graduated and planned to study engineering at Brooklyn College, and Konstantin was deeply loved by his family and friends. Their sudden deaths have left three families and the Brooklyn community mourning three young lives filled with hopes and dreams.
