Bob Eubanks, born in Flint, Michigan, in 1938, became a beloved television personality after hosting The Newlywed Game beginning in 1966, where his quick wit and playful style made the show a lasting hit. Before television fame, he worked in radio and concert promotion, famously mortgaging his home to help bring The Beatles to the Hollywood Bowl in 1964 and later promoting stars including The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, and Elton John.
