One-year-old Gabriel Esdras was born with turricephaly, a skull malformation accompanied by differences in his hands and feet and developmental delays, while doctors investigate a possible chromosomal cause. His mother, Rita de Cássia, had to leave her job to care for him, and the family struggled to afford even milk. After a simple video of Gabriel’s routine reached more than 100,000 people, strangers began sending food, clothes, and financial support, while other mothers offered advice and solidarity, giving the family a powerful reminder that they were not alone.
