A 6-year-old boy from Texas has died after a tragic accident involving an inflatable backyard water slide. Authorities identified the child as Jordan Aure Buitron and said he suffered a fatal electrocution while playing at his family’s home. Emergency responders were called to the scene, but despite efforts to save him, he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

According to investigators, metal stakes used to secure the inflatable water slide accidentally pierced an underground electrical line. The damaged wire energized the surrounding soil, creating a hidden electrical hazard that investigators believe led to the child’s fatal injuries.
