An Army veteran in Livonia, Michigan, sprang into action after a 27-year-old man allegedly followed his 15-year-old daughter home from the school bus stop. The father confronted the suspect outside his home before the man fled the scene.

Determined not to let him escape, the father followed the suspect in his truck while calling 911. With the help of nearby neighbors and a rapid police response, officers located and arrested the man within minutes.

The girl’s mother said the frightening encounter left her daughter shaken and afraid to return to school. Police used the incident as a reminder for children and parents to stay alert and report any suspicious behavior immediately.
