After a local resident filmed and named him, videos of Jimothy went viral, inspiring merchandise and even tattoos from fans. However, wildlife authorities are urging people **not to approach, touch, feed, or try to interact with him**, reminding the public that despite his adorable appearance and apparent good health, Jimothy remains a wild animal that could potentially carry diseases such as rabies.
