When a parent returned home to find the house covered in trash, pizza boxes and clothes, they initially assumed their 14-year-old son Noah had thrown a disastrous party while the family was away. But security-camera footage revealed a very different story: Noah had secretly invited classmates to say goodbye to his best friend Eli, whose family was moving overseas, and the teenagers had held a **silent disco**, using headphones so the neighbors heard nothing. With the babysitter Chloe keeping an eye on six-year-old Mia, the gathering eventually became an emotional farewell, although the teens were still caught off guard when the parents returned early.
