A food-delivery driver in Miami Gardens, Florida, allegedly shot and killed a man during what he said was an attempted robbery while making a delivery. Witness Luis Ordonez told CBS News Miami that he heard several gunshots and later saw a wounded man lying in the street. According to neighbors, the driver claimed the man approached him to rob him and that he fired in self-defense while legally carrying a concealed weapon. Police reportedly detained the driver but did not charge him, while a surviving suspect, identified as Jabari Joshua Thomas, faces a felony-murder allegation. Authorities continue to investigate the confrontation using witness accounts, physical evidence and any available surveillance or cellphone video.
