Doctors told Michiel Vandeweert’s parents that he might not live past 12 because of his rare premature-aging condition, but he defied those expectations and lived far beyond that age. He became a writer, gamer, streamer and public figure, sharing his humor, courage and everyday life with others while refusing to be defined by his diagnosis. Together with his sister, he also allowed cameras into his world, giving people a deeply personal look at what it meant to live with a condition that made every day precious.
