Tanner Horner, the former FedEx driver who pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering seven-year-old Athena Strand in Texas in 2022, has been sentenced to death. During interrogation after his arrest, Horner reportedly asked police for one month with his family in exchange for telling them everything, but the request was denied; Athena’s family later delivered emotional statements in court as the jury imposed the death penalty.
