Actor John Cusack has publicly backed Mark Ruffalo after Ruffalo strongly criticized Paramount Skydance executives’ ties to Israel and rejected accusations of antisemitism. Ruffalo argued that criticizing Israeli government actions, military contracts and corporate decisions is not the same as attacking Jewish people, while expressing his respect for the Jewish community. Cusack responded on X with a brief message of support, writing, “Well said,” as the debate over Paramount’s proposed $111 billion Warner Bros. deal and its broader political and business implications continues.
