A 14-year-old boy has received a 12-month referral order and a three-year restraining order after attacking a 14-year-old girl with a kitchen knife in a Cirencester shop on March 15. The court heard he had become obsessed with the girl after she rejected his advances and later used fake social media accounts to contact her. He waited outside the shop, followed her inside and stabbed her multiple times, causing cuts to her neck, hands and face, while a shopkeeper who intervened was also injured.
