Finding a small, tube-shaped shell on a wall or in a corner can be a surprise. At first, it might just look like a piece of dust, lint, or dirt stuck to the surface. However, these tiny cases are often made by indoor bagworms. They are small insects that build moving shelters out of dust, hair, and clothing fibers they find in your house.

These insects love quiet, dark, and messy places where they can grow without being disturbed. You will often find them near ceilings, behind big furniture, or inside closets.
