British actor Tom Chadbon, known for appearances in Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and the James Bond film Casino Royale, has died at the age of 80. His death was reported in July 2026.
Chadbon became particularly memorable to Doctor Who fans for playing Duggan in the classic 1979 episode City of Death. He later returned to the franchise in another role.
Throughout his career, he worked across television, film, and theatre, appearing in productions including Casualty, Where the Heart Is, and Wire in the Blood. He also had a role in Game of Thrones in 2017.
